Manufactured items are made of polypropylene by injection integral molding technology, structurally balanced.
The following products are available:
The presented product is invaluable in use as a structural element - the so-called. wall element for the manufacture of various types of containers subjected to constant static, corrosive or chemicals loads. In contrast to the flat sheet plates coffers have spatial structure, namely on the one side, the surface is smooth like the surface of a plate and, on the other side is a truss of rib height of 80 mm and spacing in both directions at 100 mm. The reinforced structure is similar in design layout to the honeycomb. With this construction coffers are characterized by a much greater strength, stability and stiffness. Thus, some containers can be made only with coffers without additional relevant strengthening, and other without reinforcements parts, due to the much greater strength of the wall elements - coffers. A calculation in terms of stability of tank should me made each time.
The main application of wall coffers is the construction of concrete and reinforced concrete tanks in the system of so-called shuttering formwork - where reinforcing ribbed elements - are inundated with concrete outside and inside the tank we get a smooth chemical resistant and completely sealed surface of polypropylene - and physiologically inert capable of having contact with drinking water -on the wall elements produced we have obtained adequate hygienic attestation of National Institute of Hygiene.
Other extremely popular uses of MOD Quatro 1920 caissons are:
Examples of other applications using polypropylene reinforced plates – coffers:
The standard format of sheets is 1000 x 1000 mm and 1200 x 1200 mm, coffer thickness is 80 mm, wall thickness 10 mm
The following modules are available:
plus an additional type of Quattro with a double reinforcements in the mid of width of a coffer in both directions, providing the possibility of cutting and obtaining the elements of a measure for example, 1000 x 500 mm or 500 x 500 mm mantaining the external rib - strengthening element in each element cut. As a result, by using the Quatro element, there are no waste when cutting into smaller pieces, and the tanks can be produced in virtually any configuration of size.

Due to the different production technology - machine injection compared to plates- extrusion, material is used with other parameters in terms of flow rate MFI (Melt Flow Index), MFR (Melt Flow Rate), and thus we do not recommend connection - welding in a highly responsible constructions of plates with coffers, except for cover elements. Welding of different types of plastic is cumbersome because of the different flow rates, and therefor different temperature needed for welding. Warming up and connecting is uneven, which is why we recommend using one type of material that is only cassettes to both the bottom and internal partitions.
As a way of connecting, we recommend using bilateral extrusion welding with adhesives - the native material - polypropylene welding wire Ø 4 mm natur/white. In the case of a unilateral connection or an apparent absence of welding possibility, it may be a mechanical connection - twisting by means of bolts. Then, in order to ensure the total leak tightness it is recommended to use seals between the coffers.
How to connect using extrusion welding is graphically represented by the following pictures:
