AMARGO system allows both fixed – on site installation for many years in one place and reuse as a mobile detour ice rink on the occasion of various events, festivals, picnics, events and other opportunities - to be installed on the outside (ice rink panels have standard stability in external conditions - UV) or indoors.

Ice rink - synthetic panels AMARGiCE^® PE can be stacked on level ground, of practically every kind and without special expensive preparation such as concrete blocks on the town square, the surface of sports pitches (including artificial surface pitches from the Orlik program), surface of tennis court, industrial floor hall , ceramic tile floor in the mall, dance floor in the conference room / gym, flooring, wooden stage platform and others ...

The distribution of the panels of ice rink on the surface, for example, 250 - 300 m², is only a few hours time. Any special machinery or equipment is not needed for the installation.

Application temperature range is from minus 35 °C for up to plus 70 °C.

The solution - a substitute for the natural ice - is based on using the latest generation of high-quality original synthetic panels AMARGiCE PE 500 with specially formulated material from the group of high molecular polyolefins (+ allowances and purifiers) with a special system of locks to facilitate fast and efficient assembly / disassembly. Depending on the nature and usage as well as the installation location we do not "force" you to buy only one type of panels, but offer a wide selection of the following types of AMARGiCE ice-rink panels:

• - type L - straight side edges - especially designed for stationary ice rink, skating rink where we know that it will be invariably located for at least several months / years in one place. The advantage of L-type panels is a connection through a tongue / mortise - which eliminates the so-called "keyboarding" of each sheet, even in case of uneven ground – there arises one can say so vividly the "floating floor". In addition to eliminate the risk of possible gaps between the panels - especially in the case of large temperature variations occurring during the year (summer / winter - the temperature difference can be up to 50 ÷ 60 °C, and as we know plastics have a very high coefficient of linear expansion temperature) – we use pinning prepared at the stage of the production of panels with the use of native material (the connection between adjacent panels only, and not to the ground).

Standard size of L-type panel is 2000x1000 mm.

• - type S - with the edges in the shape of the letter "S" - designed for quick installation with the use of additional foreign flat tongue. In this system, it is necessary to pin the panels to the floor or use a special system for retaining the side rails - blocking the possible movements of the ice as a result of temperature variations.

• - Type P - ideal for use especially during the rental period - frequent mounting, with side edges equipped with an innovative connection system in the shape of puzzles. The system requires a stable and level ground surface, so that in case of significant differences in the amount of land it is necessary to perform even horizontal wooden platform or application of mobile AMARGO platform. Panels of type P - Puzzles do not need additional pinning to the ground. The dimension of a single panel rink has been chosen for quick and easy installation and portability by one person and is 950x950 mm.

Only original AMARGiCE^® rink panels with a thickness of about 18 - 21 mm - uniform throughout the thickness section - along with proven for many years in practice the connection system, manufactured by pressing and processing of technical plastics of increased durability, a very accurate digital CNC machines that ensure the highest quality, best sliding ability, minimal maintenance costs and full satisfaction of future users.

Artificial ice surface is always dry (no need for the application of silicone measure - as it was done in the old Dutch technology) - which is important in the skaters downs – they do not get wet ...

With the systemic combination and large wholesome thick plastic (do not use any cheap fillers or other stiffeners, for example, plywood) panels can be used on both sides and also after several years of intensive exploitation can be abraded / planed to get again brand new surface of the synthetic ice pane.

Based on AMARGiCE^® PE panels, the synthetic ice rink to be fully operational needs costing several hundred thousand Zlotys machines for the care of ice panes, garage, specialist staff to operate for extended periods and the necessary technology to use - as is the case with traditional frozen ice rink. Specially developed formula of the latest application does not even require a measure of silicone, but only dabbling for example, once a week using a garden sprayer solution that improves the sliding ability of AMARGiCE^® (special blend of glycerol and stabilizing additives) and periodically when necessary to clean even with a vacuum cleaner or polisher – scrubber with suction.

When riding on the traditional skating ice is actually riding on a thin layer of water, because the skate causes friction generating heat and ice for a short while melt itself. Accordingly, sharpened (the requirement is necessary if we are to have full comfort of sliding ability) runner of skates causes the same friction and heat, which digs out the oil contained in the chemical structure of the panel giving excellent slip to a skater.

The use of such polyethylene panels leads to a giant ice rink energy savings (the amount of the order of several thousand per month), what would be needed for the production of real ice. What's more panels do not require any cooling or do not necessitate the use of water. In addition, there are not used to them any aggressive substances such as freon, brine, glycol or ammonia, which would be necessary to produce an artificially frozen surface. Most of the panels of this type are completely recyclable.

Energy consumption for cooling panes of traditional ice rink - with the current large global warming and mild winters and the ever-increasing price of electricity is of fundamental importance for the investor.

The cost of electricity consumed during a single season, can reach an astronomical sum of 100 thousand PLN. Based on data on the market of the implementation of the ice rink in Wroclaw the cost of design in 2004 amounted to 864 thousand PLN in variant with bands of wood.

We do not need electricity, kilometers of piping, coils, styrofoam, sand, CFC free, the enormous quantity of ammonia (some ice still working on the basis of the ammonia plant - on one rink may be a few tons of this dangerous and highly aggressive gas - a bomb with delayed Ignition!) or glycol for filling installations, expensive chillers, riots, machine-care ice - rolby (cost of buying a new machine is around 200 - 300 thousand PLN, used minimally PLN 130 thousand), personnel to operate and so on ...

We only need to use cleaning machine (maintenance of a clean white aesthetic appearance, for example, removing pollutants such as particles of sand, dust, etc.) type scrubber electric varnish-scrubber with suction (such as cleaning floors, ceramic tiles, floor) - the purchase cost of approximately 2 - 4 thousand PLN and normal sprayer (like a garden) to the application, for example, once a week solution that improves sliding ability (monthly cost per 1 m² of only 1.2 PLN).

By comparison, the monthly cost of operating a traditional ice rink is at least 40 PLN/m² (data based on actual costs of operating an ice rink in Wroclaw). According to the calculation of the ice rink returns to within 1 - 2 - 3 years max.
