Plates of high and ultra high molecular density - PE 500 and PE 1000

In addition to the plates produced with PE High Density Polyethylene PE HD (other markings found on the market are EP 300, Boralen 300) we also offer material from the group of polyolefins of high molecular weight PE HMW PE 500 and ultra high molecular weight PE UHMW PE 1000. These plates are extremely resistant to wear and abrasion compared to metals and other materials. Due to this fact they are ideal for workpieces used for machining, drilling, turning, milling. Other treatment methods in particular: riveting, laser cutting, water jet cutting, metal cold forming, punching.

To clarify POLYETHYLENE PE 300 with the molar mass of about 300 000 g/mol is relatively flexible, hard and waxy to the touch material with a very high toughness. Because of the above-mentioned relatively low molar mass (in contrast to the described high-molecular types PE HMW 500 000 g/mol and PE UHMW about 5 million g/mol), PE 300 material connects well in the process of welding. PE 500 material is a difficult to weld material, and for the EP 1000 it is already virtually impossible.

PE HD 300 is resistant to organic solvents, acids, caustic soda (NaOH), thinners, fruit juices, water and fat. However, it is not resistant to aromatic and chlorine derivatives of hydrocarbons. In terms of physiological, polyethylene is harmless and can have direct contact with drinking water and food. For intermediates we have adequate hygienic certificate of National Institute of Hygiene and confirm compliance with EU and FDA (Food and Drug Administration) standards.

HMWPE and UHMWPE plates as compared to HDPE 300 have significantly better performance in terms of:
